Rights of Community Members
Gratitude is right of the community members who strive to work for their family and make themselves happy; and /or also to those who try to make others happy. They never caused problem for others. They never hurt other's feelings. They did never anything wrong to others. Less interactive people come to this category. Think about your problems in life; 50% at least; in some cases may be up to 90%; stress, sufferings are due to others. Few problems are from nature. Hurting feelings of others is haraam. Islamic laws are interactive; two ways. This is violation of human rights. Disrespecting momin is war against Allah SWT and honoring, helping momin is shelter from wrath of Allah SWT. The closer has more rights. Degrading, insulting momin; is challenge for battle to Allah SWT. If you feel somebody is burden for you; actually he is there to share bounties on you from Allah SWT. I should not be burden on anyone; this is my duty. But if someone comes to me, I should not feel that he is burden. A group of companions (followers) from Khurasaan came to see Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS); Imam (AS) asked them; why you people insult, humiliate, degrade us? Apparently it was after Hajj time. Those people were very surprised. Imam (AS) told that person who was talking more; that you didn't listen and paid no attention to a walking momin to share ride with him for a mile. You disrespected one of our lover. It is equal to disrespect of us. This person thought that if he will share ride that would become burden for him. Helping someone is not a burden. It is a great bounty of Allah SWT. If we thank a bounty, Allah SWT promised to increase. Someone comes to you for help because you have ability (money, skill, time, advice) to help him; Allah SWT will increase this ability. Always be ready to help others. Think about yourself; when you need help of others; with same emotion and spirit deal with others. Focus on what we have, don't focus on what lost. Thank God for things which never happened.
